Indi is a Taluka place in the Bijapur District. Nana Saheb Patil of Indi was Baba’s devotee. The doctor Kavi or Indi was Nana Saheb’s friend. Nana Saheb had told him that he (Nana Saheb) will arrange for darshan of Baba to Dr. Kavi. Accordingly he took Dr. Kavi to Baba. Dr. Kavi had darshan of Baba and he went and sat with other devotees in one. corner. Baba enquired about Dr. Kavi and called him, gave him a coconut, telling him that he should worship that daily with devotion. Doctor has been doing that and is happy and has peace of mind.
At another time when Baba visited Indi, Dr. Kavi was one of hundreds o f devotees who had come for darshan. People stood in queue and were having darshan. When Dr. Kavi’s turn came Baba asked him to project palms. When Dr. did that he spat on his palm, and told “Now you have Dattatreyas’s full blessings. Now on, everything good will happen to you. Doctor was extremely happy and satisfied. He is one of the ardent devotee of Baba. Doctor now believes that the highest bliss giver Baba, by his kindness will drive away all difficulties of devotees and grant them highest bliss.
